At Kannadi HSS, academic management is focused on creating a structured, supportive, and engaging learning environment. Following the Kerala State Syllabus, we combine effective teaching practices, continuous assessment, and individual guidance to help every student strengthen knowledge, develop essential skills, and achieve their full potential.

Curriculum Overview

Our curriculum follows the Kerala State Education Board framework and incorporates the principles of the National Education Policy (NEP 2020). We offer a balanced mix of languages, sciences, mathematics, social sciences, arts, and physical education.

All textbooks and examination patterns follow the Kerala State Board guidelines, with additional enrichment activities, projects, seminars, and co-curricular programmes to ensure holistic development.

Teaching Methodology

We follow a learner-centric, activity-based approach to teaching. We have equipped with smart classrooms, and our teachers use a blend of traditional instruction, collaborative projects, discussions, and digital learning tools to make every lesson engaging and effective.

Regular unit tests, term examinations, and internal assessments are conducted as per the school calendar. Special coaching and remedial classes are available for students who need additional support.

Examination & Assessment

Classes VIII to XII follow the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) pattern as per the Kerala State Board. Classes X prepare for the SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) examinations conducted by the Kerala Board of Public Examinations. Classes XI and XII follow the Higher Secondary examination pattern.

Annual exams are held in March, with results typically declared in May. Term-wise assessments are conducted in September and December.
